A Journey to Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia 2019 – Day 1

This year, SRO Motorsports Group holds the annual race Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia 2019, which formerly known as Blancpain GT Series Asia, from Apr.6 to Sept. 28. The race will take place at six international circuits in Asia, started from Sepang International Circuit (Malaysia), Chang International Circuit (Thailand), Suzuka International Circuit (Japan), Fuji Speedway (Japan), Korea International Circuit (Korea), and Shanghai International Circuit (China).

Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia is a race for GT3 and GT4 cars that refers to the British GT Championship. The race allows every team to have two racers who will switch every ten minutes in the pitstop area. The composition of the racers should be a professional and an amateur, or two professionals with ranking below the Silver Cup at FIA.

From Indonesia, David Tjiptobiantoro and Rio Haryanto will join the competition under Asia’s independent racing team, T2 Motorsports. The Peak Indonesia gets a special opportunity to be the official media partner and witness the journey of these remarkable Indonesian racers in Blancpain GT World Challenge Asia 2019.
