Douce France

Raising the profile of French destinations and brands.

To strengthening the appeal of France as an international destination and the competitiveness of its brands, I was invited by The France Tourism Development Agency, Atout France, to participate in their annual workshop Douce France 2019, which was held at Club Med Phuket resort in November.

The workshop was participated by 8 partners from France, namely Air France, Club Med, Sodexo Group, Deauville Tourism Board, St Tropez Tourism Board, La Vallee Village, RailEurope and Galeries Lafayette.

Winter Wonderland by Club Med

Experience a winter holiday you’ll never forget. Boasting the highest mountains in Europe and spanning across three countries, the Alps are the darling of the snow world. With premium high-altitude resorts at the top of the French Alps, the ski holidays are simply incomparable.

At Club Med it is easy – one package – with everything included from refined accommodation, gourmet cuisine to ski passes and even ski or snowboard lessons. To make it more enjoyable, the resorts’ offer ski-in ski-out concepts, allowing for more time to hit the slopes from the door. Plus, the resorts in the French Alps generally enjoy the best snow and the longest seasons, with slopes up to 3,000m high.

Atout Air Deauville

Experiencing Deauville, means walking along the Boardwalk with the sea as a garden, discovering its architecture which blends the extravagance of the Second Empire, the golden age of Anglo-Norman design and the striking buildings of the 1890s, an architecture which is explained, protected and valued, in a resort where everything is accessible on foot or by bicycle. It means playing golf in the heart of Normandy, setting sail on the Estuary which inspired Dufy, witnessing the unforgertable spectacle of a horse race or a polo match.

Saint Tropez Tourisme

Saint-Tropez is what dreams are made of and the town remains a favorite spot for the celebrities as well as lovers of the seaside, history art and heritage.

To discover the village, loiter along the tiny alleys of the old town and the world famous harbor. Saint-Tropez also has a rich historical and cultural heritage with the Annonciade Museum, one of the most beautiful painting and sculpture Museums of the beginning of the XXth Century, the XVIlth Century Citadel and its museum of maritime history, the House of Butterflies, and the new museum of Gendarmerie and Cinema of Saint-Tropez.

With its naturally protected environment, the Saint-Tropez Peninsula will delight walkers with its beautiful coastal path, its hilltop villages and magnificent vineyards.

Yachts de Paris

Come on board for a 3-hour dinner yacht cruise through the heart of Paris, an unforgettable experience in an atmosphere of calm and luxury. Enjoy a 6-course meal by Chef Guy Krenzer, twice elected “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” (Best Craftsmen of France), who is pleased to invite you to discover his cuisine and its perfect harmony with the wines and champagnes offered on board. The décor of the yacht is also sure to please: designed in Art Deco style in collaboration with Pierre Frey, the yacht evokes the golden age of transatlantic ocean liners. Bring your nearest and dearest and experience an evening of luxury like no other.

Le Jules Verne

Providing an exceptional view of Paris, Le Jules Verne is the must-visit gastronomic destination of the capital, and measures up to the monument itself. In 2019, Le Jules Verne unveiled its new venue and a menu concocted by Chef Frédéric Anton, winner of the “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” award. For Le Jules Verne, he created a menu that features unprocessed and noble ingredients from various regions in France such as crab, prawns, free-range poultry, and even chocolate. Thanks to subtle pairings, the restaurant’s dishes reveal the best in each ingredient while emphasizing aromas and flavors. For each dish, ingredients are finely chopped by the chef, an homage to the Eiffel Tower’s architecture.
